Bereavement Events
    Service of Remembrance
Held in the spring and fall of each year, this service provides an opportunity for us to share in your grief journey by celebrating the lives off the patients we served. The service consists of a brief message with encouraging words from our Chaplain as well as a candle lighting ceremony.

    Ladies' Evening
Held each year in February, this event provides us the opportunity to honor women who have lost a loved one. The evening includes a dinner, a light-hearted program, and fellowship with other women.

    Spring Celebration
Each year prior to Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, we plant flowers and other plants in memory of loved ones in the middle garden of the John R. Williamson Hospice House. Our families are invited to participate in this planting as a way to honor and remember those held special. Information is mailed out in the spring about how to participate by purchasing or bringing a flower to be planted.

    Christmas Treasures
This is a one day program offered allowing families to bring an ornament in memory of a loved one to be placed on our memory tree. We also take time to enjoy refreshments and have cookie decorating for the kids and the young at heart.
